The alt-rockers set out to embrace their most introspective acoustic side on a brand new EP release.
April 2020 - Fight Like Sin is a rock band with an eclectic approach. Their most recent release is a studio EP named “Cicada,” a re-imagining of songs from their back catalog, which sets the bar higher by introducing new elements into the band’s sound and mellowing up their tone with some tasteful acoustic guitars. This time around, Fight Like Sin decided to create some lo-key versions of their songs, embracing the “less is more” attitude. Although they primarily release rock music, the group came out with some beautiful acoustic tracks and some excellent arrangements that give you a different sonic perspective on the originally released tracks. The group plans to release the songs on this EP one by one over the course of Spring/Summer of 2020. The first song will be released on all streaming platforms on April 24th, 2020.
The soothing, understated and one-of-a-kind sound of the EP suits the production aesthetics as well, making for a distinctive sound that allows the organic nuances of the sound to stand out.
